Color correction Part II

I went to the park and i took about five or six pictures, so i could choose which picture i wanted to use. I decided to use the picture with the slides in it, because some areas is shaded and other areas are bright and shiny. I first selected the slide with my selection tool and i chose to make it more vibrant. I put the vibrance to +29 and the saturation to +32, the slide now looks new because the blue is darker.
I selected the other slide and i used Hue/ Saturation on it, I put the Hue down to -9 and the Saturation up to +6 and the lightgreen i brought down to -14. The slide was in direct sunlight so i figured i would make the slide look shiny like there is a glare. The trees on the top right, i used color balance because i wanted the trees to look crispy and green. I brought the Cyan down to -5 and i put the Magenta up to +27 and i brought the yellow down to -16. On the left side i made the picture in Black and White, i brought the reds, yellow, green, and blues to - 14. I brought the  Cyan down to -30 and the magenta down to- 27. It gives that part of the picture an old dreary look.

Color Correction

The first picture i worked on was the Quirigua, I noticed that the sky was a little too blue and the grass was a little too green. I went to the input levels and i moved the left cursor to 32, and i moved the middle cursor to 1.41, and then i moved the right cursor to 2.10. The output levels i moved the left cursor to 35 and i left the right cursor alone. The grass and sky looks a little better than it did.

The bird, i just moved the brightness to 23, and the contrast to -11.
The rooster, i had to do something about the shadows and i decided to move the brightness to 32, and the contrast to -13. I also decided to move the input levels to1.03 for the middle cursor and i left the other two cursors alone. The out put levels i moved the left cursor to 3, and the right cursor to 231. I also went to the exposure and i moved it to 0.41, the off set i moved to -0.0020 and the gamma correction i moved to 0.91.

Removing background on hair 1, and 2.

I decided to use the wand tool to remove the background. I turned the background red so i could see all the areas that i missed. I went to the internet and i watched some videos on you tube. The videos i watched was on layers and masking. I tried masking a little bit but i still don't fully understand masking that much so i watched the videos again and i went to other websites to get more information about it so i could have a better understanding on masking. For the most part i used the Marquee and wand tool to remove the background, It was slow and tedious, but i'm sure that once i understand masking better it would make my job easier.

Proficiancy Project

I didn't know what poem to pick at first so i decided to google Poems.com and ireceived a lot of choices to choose from. I decided to pick danger because it is kind of vague and it would allow me to choose a variety of images. I chose the robot because he is always warning WILL robinson about danger. I also chose a vampire because it represents a mythological danger. I chose A bottle of pills because it reminded me of people doing drug overdose. I also chose waves hitting rocky peaks because ships have been known to sink after hitting them. I chose the skull because it is a universal sign of danger. I also thought that the coffee mug with the words "Danger Teacher in Bad Mood!" was kind of hilarious so i had to incorporate it in to the poem.
